Ruf Automobile has been building fast Porsches for 25 years. To mark its silver anniversary, the tuning house is offering a pair of "entry" sports cars, the 3400 K Coupe and Roadster.
Based on the Porsche Boxster and Cayman, the 3400 K retails for $108,640 (coupe) and $102,240 (roadster).
The cars feature a midmounted, turbocharged 3.4-liter flat-6 engine. Output is nudged to 400 horsepower and torque to 325 pound-feet. Ruf says 0-60-mph acceleration is achieved in less than 4.4 seconds, and top speed peaks at 181 mph.
As with most Ruf conversions, the 3400 K receives the full aero treatment, with aggressive new front and rear fascias.
