Saab Merges Gaming and Green Movement With BioPower Challenge

Saab has fired the next volley in marketing its BioPower lineup with the launch of a new mobile-phone game.

As you might expect, the fastest driver of a Saab 9-3 BioPower SportCombi wins in the "BioPower Challenge," which promotes the automaker's flex-fuel lineup. BioPower combines turbocharging with E85 or bioethanol.

The game features some unusual locations, including the Swedish village of Fiskebackskil, where the new Saab 9-3 will be launched this summer. Another level has players navigating an icy road from Narvik in Norway to Jukkasjarvi in Sweden. Saab says players will be able to compare results with others around the world by submitting results to a global high score list.

The game will be launched here next week. It will be available at Saab's Web site at the end of July.
