Special Tuner : Hartge V300+

Special Tuner : Hartge V300+
BMW tuning specialist Hartge is putting a new twist on its latest edition of the 1 Series.

Hartge's V300+, being developed in conjunction with the University of Technology and Economics in Saarbrücken, will run on liquefied petroleum gas and aims to establish a speed record for an LPG-fueled engine.

The car will produce 550 horsepower, with a projected top speed of more than 186 mph. Among the benefits of LPG are more power and torque and lower exhaust emissions.

Assisting in the project are the federal Ministry for Environment and the state Ministry for Economics and Work of the Saarland.
