Mazda Tweaks Its Scrum Wagon and Van for the Home Market

Mazda has updated its Scrum wagon and Scrum van microminis with an emphasis on seating comfort and cosmetic touches. The Scrum is sold in Japan and is not available in the U.S. The top-of-the-line Mazda Scrum Wagon PZ Turbo has a new front grille, high-intensity discharge headlights and new 14-inch chrome wheels. Mysterious Violet Purple, a new exterior color, spices up the color palette. The PZ Turbo has a 660cc DOHC turbo engine and a four-speed automatic transmission.

The wagon and van get improved front seats and seat fabric. Prices start at the equivalent of $10,330 for the wagon and $7,425 for the van version of the Scrum. Mazda said target sales volume for both body types is 800 units per month.
