Special Tuning: Range Rover Sport Becomes Hamann Conqueror
The tuning house Hamann has revved up the Range Rover Sport, with a new package called Conqueror.
The Hamann Conqueror offers hotter versions of several European engines, including the 2.7-liter diesel V6 and the normally aspirated 4.4-liter gasoline V8. Our attention, however, was captured by the upgrade kit for the supercharged V8, which includes reprogrammed engine electronics, modified blower, performance headers and stainless steel exhaust system with sport catalytic converters. The engine now churns out 475 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque.
Hamann upgraded the brakes as well and lowered the electronic suspension by up to 1.6 inches. The company also offers custom wheels in sizes ranging from 20 to 23 inches.
A wide-body aero kit bundles a new front apron with integrated foglamps, side sills, wheel-arch extensions, rear apron and roof spoiler. Air inlets are trimmed in carbon fiber.
Inside, an eight-piece carbon-fiber trim set is matched with aluminum pedals, leather upholstery and custom logo floor mats.
