Abt Sportsline, which won the German Touring Car Championship with the previous-generation Audi TT, naturally has a soft spot for the German sports car. That's why it put special effort into this modification of the TT roadster.
The tuner went with new body parts: front skirt, side panels, rear spoiler and wing. Abt also enhances the TT's backside with a rear diffuser and a new four-pipe exhaust system. But the important stuff lurks under the hood.
The very fast TT-R is now available in Roadster guise as well. The 3.2-liter V6 has been upgraded to 355 horsepower with the help of a supercharger, which results in a 0-62-mph time of 5.0 seconds. There are tweaks to the other engine choices, too, notably to the 2.0-liter Turbo FSi, which now offers 300 hp.
Suspension settings have been altered and there are enormous 14.9-by-1.3-inch disc brakes. Abt can also offer self-designed alloy wheels in 19- and 20-inch sizes.
