Infiniti and XM Team To Offer QX56 Buyers a Navigation and Radio Deal

Automotive News, Cars
Infiniti has teamed with XM to offer three years of free satellite radio and traffic navigation services to buyers of the 2008 QX56. XM Satellite Radio will also be a standard feature on all Infiniti models starting with the 2008 model year.

XM NavTraffic service will be an option on the 2007 Infiniti G35 as well as the 2008 G37 coupe that comes out in August. The real-time navigation system feeds information directly to the Infiniti GPS navigation system using the XM satellite network. Red, yellow and green color-coding on the XM system shows drivers how congested the traffic ahead can be expected to be.

The system is set up for 50 U.S. metropolitan areas, XM says.

XM Satellite Radio includes 170-plus digital channels of music and other entertainment as well as traffic and radio information.
